Updated Oppai Homepage Algorithms
The OppaiMan.com homepage has some new features.
We've completely overhauled the 4 algorithms that display the games on the site's homepage.

Over the past few months, you may have noticed that we've run several tests on our site, changing the position of games, categories, visibility, number of slots, etc...
These tests were used to understand how players and developers generate results.
After many tests, we discovered that the best way to make the platform grow is to reward those who invest time and dedication into it.
Here is a list of the developers that appeared on the home page, their number of Self + Cross promotion, Patreon paid member, and the most important value, the (% ) percentage.

That's why in the last few weeks we've put new tools in place on the developer dashboard, where you can view games from other game devs for you to recommend to your community using your personalized links.

And the new home is the “other end” of that same tool, where we reward game devs who generate visibility and growth for other developers and for the platform as a whole.
Notice: the unlock visibility page is not tracking the right numbers, you need to manually find your number of promos here and then divide by your number of Patreon Paid Member.
It's simple: the more you contribute to growth, the more visibility you get on the home page.
And instead of using a raw contribution number, we are now tracking contribution as a percentage of your total number of Patreon Paid Members.
I believe it gives an equal opportunity to developers with 20 paid members and developers with 2,000 paid members.
These are the rules that are now applied to each line of the Home page:
New & Trending
Filter: At least 5% of your paid members brought as self or cross promotions in the last 30 days.
Example: If you have 100 paying Patrons, when you bring in 5 purchases for any game on the site (yours or a third party's) through your links, you will be eligible to appear in this category on the home page.
Second Filter: Latest release be newer than 31 days.
Sorting: The number of units sold in the last 48 hours.
Top Sellers
Filter: At least 4% of your paid members brought as self or cross promotions in the last 30 days.
Second Filter: Latest release must be older than 30 day.
Sorting: The number of USD sold in the last 48 hours.
Featured Games
Filter: At least 3% of your paid members brought as self or cross promotions in the last 30 days.
Sorting: The % number of cross + self promotions using your UTM.
Example: A dev with 100 patrons and 10 UTM sales has 10% score. And a dev with 1,000 patrons and 30 UTM sales has 3% score. The dev with 10% should rank higher than the one with 3%.
Notice: The team is adjusting the code to make it right.
Top Free Games
Filter: None. The game must be free.
Sorting: The % number of cross + self promotions using your UTM.
Other algorithms
We are keeping the other algorithm the same for now.
Questions and Answers
Question: What did the developers high ranked on home page do to get there?
Answer: To find out, you should learn from them.
Go to their Patreon, Discord and other pages and see what they did.
Or drop them a message asking for tips.
Question: What if my number of Patreon paid members is private?
Answer: The only way we can track your number of paid members and show your game on the home page is if your number of paid members is public on your Patreon page.
