Retain Patrons for longer: charge when they join, and then monthly on that same date

Before September 2022, a patron that joined on June 30th would get charged again on July 1st. And they would get upset, ask for a refund and never comeback.

This all changed when Patreon released Subscription Billing, which solved a big pain point for players. Patreon members are now charged monthly on the same date they joined.

Your payout schedule doesn’t change, and you can still get an automatic payout on the 5th.

If your Patreon Campaign was released before September 2022, you can go to Billing and payout and click "Switch to subscription billing" to make this change and retain your patrons for longer.
